Headquartered in Anderlecht (Brussels), Belgium, Optimol Lubrication was founded in 1971. With subsidiaries in the Netherlands (Barendrecht) and France (Forbach), the company now has a workforce of over forty employees.

Since its establishment, Optimol Lubrication has specialized in high-performance lubricants. It started as a distributor of products from the German companies “Optimol Ölwerke Industrie,” “Molub-Alloy,” and “Tribol.” After the acquisition of these companies by Castrol™ in 1989, Optimol Lubrication, thanks to its historical ties, expertise, and portfolio, became the distributor for Castrol™ Industrial in Belgium, Luxembourg, and France.

In late 2021, there was a strategic expansion into the Netherlands, where Optimol Lubrication significantly broadened its expertise to include metalworking fluids, cleaners, and fluid management systems.

Since the early 1990s, Optimol Lubrication has been a distributor of automatic lubrication systems under the Memolub® brand, globally renowned for its efficient and robust high-tech solutions.

Optimol Lubrication operates a logistics center with its own inventory, allowing immediate supply to its customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and France.
