The high-quality materials of IMS Nederland are used for various products in many sectors. IMS Nederland has very extensive options for the machining industry with various qualities of bar and hollow bar from stock, and in particular qualities such as Prodec® stainless steel, aluminum 6026, bright steel S355 IM, ETG® and HSX®. These qualities have been specially developed to optimize production processes, among other things due to the improved machinability, higher processing speeds and the longer life of cutting tools.

Prodec®, Outokumpu’s stainless steel bar with superior machinability, provides customers in the machining industry with the best machinable stainless steel on the market. Prodec® optimizes productivity and ensures higher efficiency, resulting in cost savings of up to 50% per component.

ETG® and HSX® are Steeltec’s high performance steels. In addition to the improved machinability, these steel grades differ from the conventional grades by their tensile strength. The materials have uniform mechanical properties over the entire cross-section and size range. As a result, a lighter construction with at least the same strength can be developed with a smaller diameter.

At IMS Nederland it is also possible to have aluminum profiles produced according to the customer’s drawing, possibly already provided with holes or other treatments. These profiles can be supplied anodized or powder coated if desired.
