If we have learned anything over the past few years, it is that humans are a vulnerable part of the production process. First there were the one and a half meter measure and the high absenteeism due to Covid, but now we are facing enormous staff shortages in all sectors.

Due to a shortage of staff, for whatever reason that shortage arises, many processes become stuck. By automating production processes, you can compensate for part of the staff shortage. We asked Ronald Molenbroek from system integrator EKB about the best approach for digitizing your production. Because by using robots, for example, you ensure more continuity and higher productivity. Robots are never sick, work tirelessly day and night and, thanks to the combination with machine vision, are becoming increasingly versatile.
