When a manufacturer of cleaning products was confronted with a significant ‘claim risk’ because a delivered batch turned out to contain incorrectly labeled products, a quick solution was required to prevent recurrence. Analysis showed that the current problem could be traced back to inadequate internal controls, and the traceability system also appeared to have gaps. Both gaps have been resolved by EKB. Our vision and control experts developed a system for automated inline controls/data acquisition with fast cameras in combination with intelligent links between the different control layers.
