The first innovation is the Quick-Change quick-change system. Thanks to this quick-change system, you can effortlessly change from hole saw with a diameter of 16 mm to, for example, 76 mm. Premium quality brand Phantom and also the price/quality brand International Tools ensure significant time savings with the Quick-Change quick-change system in companies where holes with different diameters in various materials often have to be sawn. Changing to another diameter only takes a few seconds. The Quick-Change quick change system for hole saws consists of 2 sizes of adapters and a holder. This allows you to saw all diameters. Other brands of hole saws can also be used on the Quick-Change quick-change system.

The second innovation is that this quick-change system is combined with the Step-point drilling concept also developed by Van Ommen. This centering drill allows ergonomic and controlled drilling. The quick-change system provides double support to the centering drill, making the Step-point centering drill drilling very stable and free of play, allowing the hole saw to make precise holes effortlessly.

With this first, the Quick-Change offers a solution to metal, industrial and construction companies in construction for whom time savings are important, given the shortage of professionals. “In the run-up to the introduction of the quick-change system, we had many professionals work with the system,” says Frans Lenting, commercial director at Van Ommen, the parent company of Phantom and International Tools. “They were all enthusiastic about how the Quick-Change plus Step-point center drill cuts holes in a controlled manner and how easy it is to quickly change diameters.”
