As a commercial employee, you are responsible for handling and following up on customer requests from A to Z. Due to the versatility of this position, on the one hand you are involved in administrative work, on the other hand you are mainly in contact with our customers and suppliers. In short, the tasks for you as a commercial employee include:

Developing and following up on quotations and customer orders
Supporting the account managers
Taking care of order and delivery confirmation and all communication towards the customer
Acting as a central and commercial point of contact for our customers
Further optimizing cooperation with our customers

The team in Rotterdam consists of account managers, team leaders, commercial office employees, sales assistants and a branch manager. Together, these approximately 27 colleagues serve customers from industry, panel and machine construction in both electrical and mechanical fields. What are you bringing?

– A completed MBO education, preferably in technology, commerce or logistics
– Interest in or affinity with technology (electrical and/or mechanical technology)
– Experience in a similar commercial position
– It is an advantage if you are familiar with the technical market/a similar industry
– Good command of the Dutch and English language
– Experience with Office 365
– Experience working with an ERP and/or CRM package
