In this position you are the first point of contact for our customers, you know how to recognize commercial opportunities without difficulty and respond to them. You are the one with mechanical knowledge who can advise customers about both our products and services. In addition to helping your own customers, you also support the account managers in the field by, among other things, following up on leads and processing orders, so that together you exceed customer expectations. In short, your tasks as a commercial technical office employee are:
Building and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers
Supporting field account managers
Following up and processing orders
Following up on leads (supported by our CRM package) from marketing
Responding to trends and developments in the market
Working towards achieving personal and business objectives
When does the position suit you?
You have at least a completed MBO or HBO education, preferably in the field of (electrical) engineering, commerce or logistics
You have an interest in or affinity with electrical engineering and want to convert your interest into work experience
Working with computers comes naturally to you. You are good at Office programs and especially Excel
It is nice if you have experience with an ERP and/or CRM package, if not, you are eager enough to learn this
Your working environment and our offering
The team in Amsterdam consists of account managers, commercial office employees and sales assistants. Together, these approximately 10 colleagues serve customers from industry, panel and machine construction, among others. As a new colleague you will end up in a fairly small, cozy and young team consisting of various people who are all quite direct. Partly because of this directness and honesty, you will quickly master all the tricks of the trade and together we will ensure that you feel at home with us and in the technical market in no time!
