NEW! The DNT 2100 and the DNT 2600 horizontal CNC lathe

Although the popular PUMA GT 2100-2600 series have been one of the best-selling lathes for a long time, it has been decided to make this series even better. The result is the brand new successor: The PUMA DNT series, the next generation of lathes.

For example, improved stiffness, improved ergonomics and accuracy have been opted for. The PUMA DNT series is equipped with one of the most powerful spindles in its class for machine tools that require high power/torque and a heavy duty block guide. In addition, a re-design and shorter spindle drive have been chosen. This reduces noise, vibration and heat. Rigid construction and thermal stability enable the machining center to achieve high accuracy, productivity and process reliability.

For now, two models have been introduced, namely the DNT 2100 and the DNT 2600. Both have an 18.6 or 26.1 kW engine power, a torque of 735 Nm and a maximum speed of 4500 r/min.
The maximum turning diameter of the 2-axis models is 398.8 mm to 460 mm and the maximum turning length is 549 mm to 1077 mm. The models have a maximum turning diameter of 320 m to 373 mm. The maximum turning length is 500 mm to 1029 mm. On top of that comes a powerful BMT55P turret with a power of 5.6 kW and a maximum speed of 6,000 r/min. Or optionally a BMT65P turret with 10,000 r/min.

User-friendly controls

The DNT series features the advanced Fanuc i Plus control with a 15-inch touchscreen and an intuitive and user-friendly iHMI. The iHMI makes setting up and performing tasks such as machine monitoring, tool management and production planning faster and more efficient. The improved ergonomics, better visibility for the operator, height-adjustable control panel and better workpiece accessibility make it a very pleasant machine to work with.
